Pictures of the Bees and Keys

These are some of the hives icipe uses. You can see the Langstroth hive on the right. This is the hive I am most familiar with. The others I made according to how the bees lives, whether it lives underground or needs a smaller space.

These are some of their honeybees. It shows the queen at top, the workers, then the brood.

These are carpenter bees. These are probably the biggest bees I have ever seen. And there is still one breed that is bigger! Can you imagine??

These are the teeny tiny itty bitty stingless bees. I'm not sure a stinger would even fit... They do bite though. But it is hardly a bite. I find they do enjoy burrowing in blond hair though. hmm...

These are some of icipe's honey warmers so the honey drains well.

Icipe honey. It is very dark, but I find I like it. I still think is is sweet :)

Some wax they have collected. The make these into molds to sell.

And finally keys. I know this is a rather random picture, but I have moved rooms today! My key looks a lot more familiar now. Skeleton keys are a bit difficult to manage!
